Hotel El Sombrero Ecolodge

Located about 1 mile from the Yaxha ruins, if you are interested in spending the night in the Park then you should consider staying in this place, it offers comfortable rooms though you have to understand that you are right in the middle of the jungle so you wont find modern commodities like Tv. and internet access. If you like the outdoors and specially if you are interested in tropical ecology then you will enyoy spending a few nights over. You can travel to 3 main attractions from this place.

The Yaxha ruins, Topoxte and Nakum. Yaxha and Topoxte are right in the shores of the Lake Yaxha , The hotel offers boat trips to both Yaxha andTopoxte, Horses, and Tour Guides. It is one of the nicest place to stay if you are wanting to get away from modern life.   Yaxha is one of the biggest ruins after Tikal , and if you are into archaeology we definitely recommend you go there.
